What is the Venus Viva?

Is there downtime?

The Venus Viva allows you to continue with daily activities immediately after a treatment with very little social downtime. Most people experience redness for 2-5 days following a treatment and can apply makeup to cover up any redness 24 hours after a treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

On average, it will take 3-6 treatments spaced four weeks apart for ideal results.

What is the difference between the Venus Viva and a Fraxel or a CO2 Laser?

The biggest difference is how much social downtime you may have. Usually with the Viva there is only 3-5 days of social downtime. With a Fraxel or CO2 laser there is usually 2-4 weeks of social downtime. The Viva also uses microneedle technology to help the energy penetrate deeper into the dermis for faster healing time and better results. With a Fraxel or CO2 laser it removes layers of the skin causing excess healing and social downtime. A viva is also safe and effective for all skin types while a fraxel or CO@ laser is not for dark skin types.
